Position Information:

We are looking for RNs (Registered Nurses) for a Long-Term Care site in Campbellton, NB. This is a Permanent Placement Position.

Registered Nurses (RNs) Must Have:

  • Current registration and in good standing with Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB)
  • Must have at least one year of nursing experience or PSW experience in a LTC facility in Canada, reside in Canada and legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Police clearance letter vulnerable sector
  • Immunization record

Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Brunswick, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including physical examinations and health history evaluations, to identify care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and monitoring for potential side effects.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's treatment are addressed effectively.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures to promote health and wellness.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and communicated within the healthcare team.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing critical care and support as needed.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and education to stay
