JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator is an exciting position at Ridge Meadows Division of Family Practice supporting patient care improvement in our community! This position is responsible for supporting the organization’s efforts in a variety of exciting initiatives. The ideal candidate will enjoy researching, writing, tracking, analyzing, communicating with our partners, working with the project team, and serving our medical community in a variety of ways.
This position is suitable for you if you come seasoned with Project Coordination experience for an organization that is all about change. You are highly organized, yet you are highly adaptable knowing project change is a constant. You are inspired each day, owning, and successfully producing project outcomes for the organization.
The following skills would be an asset for this role: leadership, customer/member service, community development, relationship-building, oral and written communication, technology skills (or aptitude for) event coordination, project coordination, reporting, records/data management and quality improvement.
As per our COVID vaccination policy, all staff and contractors must have full COVID-19 vaccination (have received a full series of a World Health Organization “WHO” approved vaccine against infection by SARS-COV-2, or a combination of approved WHO vaccines) and show proof of vaccine.

Divisions of Family Practice is an initiative of the Family Practice Services Committee (a joint committee of the BC Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC. The Ridge Meadows Division of Family Practice (RMDFP) operates as a nonprofit society. Incorporated in 2010, it serves the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area. RMDFP provides its 147 physician members with a strong voice to ensure that our members are at the forefront of positive change in our healthcare system.

Areas of RESPONSIBILITY
Big Picture: Responsible for contributing and supporting the organization's annual Strategic Plan and organization goals to success.
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with our staff team:
· Coordinating, executing and implementing mini projects to meet project strategy goals
· Research, collection and presenting
· Creating documents, resources and tools that support project goals
· Tracking, analyzing and reporting
· Evaluation and quality improvement strategies
· Partnership outreach and engagement
· Presentation development
· Owning and maintaining work plans to meet project/team/organizational outcomes
· Assisting the staff team with other duties with our “all hands-on deck” approach
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Certificate or diploma in administration, non-profit or project management a bonus
· 5 years + Administration Management experience
· 2 years + Project Coordination experience
· Project Management experience an asset
· High degree of professionalism and work ethic
· Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to task juggle with ease
· Excellent technology and software skills with adaptability – Zoom, Google Calendar
· Professional communication and customer service skills – in person, telephone, email and text
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook Email, PowerPoint
· Ability to handle multiple requests from the team, in a dynamic, fast paced environment, while maintaining a calm disposition
· An understanding of relevant Privacy legislation governing use of data
· Familiarity with non-profit sector organizational operations is an asset
· Must have reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence

Paying fairly is important to us. Being equitable to our current staff team is equally important to us. We have a wide range pay scale that represents where you will start if you have low to no Division or non-profit or similar job equivalent experience. The top end of the scale shows where you can progress to after Division experience is earned as this carries value compared to standard work experience, given our unique environment.
Group benefits with medical, dental and life insurance start after 3 months. Vacation starts at 2 weeks and increases after 3 years and 5 years thereafter. Paid winter break between Christmas and New Year’s so you can enjoy some extra holiday time.
It is not uncommon to work a flexible schedule, after completing your 3-month probationary period, with proven ability to meet outcomes, deadlines and displaying professional conduct.
We support volunteering. You will have the opportunity to volunteer to support the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows communities with our team or individually.

WorkIng Conditions
The Project Coordinator requires availability to work from Monday to Friday, in office, during regular working hours between 8 am – 6 pm (you choose your best start and end time, i.e.: 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm) with the flexibility of attending early morning, evening and/or occasional weekend meetings to accommodate physician’s schedules. The Project Coordinator will need to accommodate and manage a flexible schedule. In exchange, the Division supports your work life schedule with returned flexibility along with staff team support. Travel will be necessary across the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows region and reliable transportation is required.
