PowerNorth Utility Contractors Inc is a specialized High-Voltage Power contracting firm. We offer leading industry expertise and operate in the Mining, Utilities and Renewables sectors delivering exceptional solutions through Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Emergency Response, and Equipment Rentals. We are based in Sudbury, Ontario but you can find us working in every corner of the Great White North. PowerNorth is independently owned and partners with customers of all shapes and sizes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, coordinators and other team members
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of project meetings and record decisions.
- Prepare and provide project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and status reports
- Maintain project files and records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying any potential issues or delays.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for project team members as needed
- Act as a liaison between project team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Assist in the coordination of project-related communications, both internal and external
Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year experience of project administration in construction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, high attention to detail.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to join our team as a Project Administrator. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our project managers and assist in the coordination of various project-related activities. If you have previous experience as a clerk or administrative assistant, along with familiarity working in a construction setting, we encourage you to apply. Proficiency in using Office Suite for document creation and collaboration is also required. Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong data entry abilities and experience in maintaining accurate records
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated clerical and administrative experience, including filing and front desk duties
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project would be considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
