We are a full-service insurance brokerage and rider-owned company offering services and coverage for the cycling industry and everyday bike enthusiasts across Canada (excluding QC and the Territories). With the rapidly increasing number of new bike riders, Bicycle Broker provides insurance consultation for cyclists looking to protect their property from unforeseen incidents. We bring our experience working with professional riders, major events, associations and retailers to the general public.

Role Summary

Our company is growing! We are looking for a driven, self-starter who can join our team to provide sales support and service to our clients. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will be responsible for helping protect the personal property and travel exposures of our valued clients as well as play a key role in organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling inbound leads generated by Bicycle Broker, through our proprietary platform
  • Sourcing new leads through cross selling or through outbound calls
  • Manage inbound calls, emails and livechat
  • Presenting and explaining terms to prospective clients, providing exceptional service and product knowledge
  • Process billing, invoices and collect payments as the main point of contact to the client
  • Data entry into the customer management system, HubSpot and managing the database of accounts
  • Processing endorsements and serving clients needs
  • Provide an above-and-beyond service experience through various communications channels and interactions (calls, emails, calendars, text, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experienced personal lines broker/advisor in both new business and service
  • RIBO license is preferred, or willing to obtain
  • Commercial lines insurance experience is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Insurance or a related business field is an asset
  • Passion for service and customer experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, managing various priorities and demands in a high-growth environment
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, Aircall, G-Suite, and Slack an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,883.00-$70,446.00 per year
