Computek College offers a dynamic learning environment focused on skill development and career readiness. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented student to join our IT team as a Network Support Intern.

Position Overview:

The Network IT Support Intern will assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of campus network infrastructure. This role is ideal for students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in networking, systems administration and cybersecurity fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining campus network systems and equipment
• Help identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired/wireless)
• Provide support for network hardware such as routers, switches and access points
• Assist with setting up and managing user access to network resources
• Perform basic diagnostics on LAN/WAN infrastructure under supervision
• Document network configurations and assist with network mapping
• Help maintain inventory of network hardware and cables
• Support cybersecurity checks and network health monitoring
• Assist in ensuring uptime and reliability of networked services

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Networking, IT or Computer Systems program is preferred
• Familiar with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS etc.)
• Understanding of network hardware and topologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities
• Interest in cybersecurity or network administration is a plus
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced IT environment

This is a coop work term- candidate will need to be affiliated with an institution that gives credit for the work term.
