Role Overview:

The Medical Radiation Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality radiologic imaging to support physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. As a key member of our Hamilton, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with physicians and other professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate, high-quality radiologic exams following protocols and requisitions.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety while applying clinical judgment for optimal imaging.
  • Provide compassionate care focused on pain management and functional outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations (e.g., HIA).
  • Support innovative clinic initiatives and assist with projects as needed.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Radiation Technologist from an accredited program.
  • Active registration with ACMDTT/CMRITO and CAMRT membership.
  • Previous radiologic imaging experience preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency and attention to detail in diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to assist patients entering or exiting the clinic with mobility challenges.
