About Us

At Matcha Matcha, we’re redefining the matcha experience. By day, we’re a modern matcha cafe serving premium beverages in a vibrant, contemporary setting. By night, we transform into M2, a tea-inspired cocktail bar offering mixology-driven cocktails and elevated small bites.

In just 11 months, Matcha Matcha has become a go-to destination in Toronto, and we’re ready to scale. We’re launching an e-commerce store featuring matcha powder, hojicha cans, and branded merchandise—and we need a versatile and driven Marketing Manager to bring our vision to life.

This isn’t your typical marketing role. We’re looking for someone who can work across all levels of marketing, from planning and strategy to content creation and execution. If you love storytelling, design, and building brands, this is your chance to shine.

What You’ll Do

As our Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of marketing for Matcha Matcha (cafe + e-commerce) and M2 (cocktail bar):

Content Creation & Design

  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for social media, ads, and campaigns.
  • Create on-brand graphics and designs for marketing materials, menus, and merchandise.
  • Produce short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu.

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive in-store traffic, brand visibility, and online sales.
  • Plan and promote events such as invite-only cocktail tastings and product launches.
  • Lead the launch and growth of our e-commerce store, including email marketing, SEO, and paid ads.

Social Media & Partnerships

  • Manage and grow our presence on social platforms, keeping content fresh, engaging, and aligned with our brand.
  • Build relationships with influencers, chefs, and brands for collaborations and cross-promotions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track campaign performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Use data to refine strategies and improve ROI for marketing efforts.

What We’re Looking For

We need a hands-on marketing expert who can plan, design, and execute. Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
  • Strong skills in content creation, including photography, videography, and editing.
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
  • A proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and growing engagement.
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
  • The ability to think strategically and execute tactically—from brainstorming ideas to delivering finished campaigns.
  • A deep understanding of branding and storytelling to resonate with diverse audiences.
  • A self-starter attitude, capable of owning projects from start to finish.
