Maintenance Technician

We are hiring a Maintenance technicia for our multi-unit residential buildings.

Taking direction from the Property Managers / Service department, this busy role requires a person who can work safely and efficiently with little direct supervision.

You will have experience in many aspects of building repair: troubleshooting, painting, drywall patch, window screen replacement, caulking of plumbing fixtures, basic equipment maintenance, carpentry skills, plumbing / electrical trouble shooting, appliance installation (dishwashers, OTR microwave), etc.

A stickler for details, you take pride in your work and the finished product. Your job sites are left cleaner than when you arrived.

You are comfortable completing work orders that detail time and materials spent and description of work done.

You will have your own basic hand tools. You will be given a Work vehicle & Work cell phone

A valid Nova Scotia drivers license is required as well as a clean driving record (required to operate our service truck)

In addition to an hourly wage and statutory 4% vacation pay, you will be eligible to join our health plan following completion of a 3-month probationary period.
