This role is based out of our Calgary office where you will be responsible for managing your daily, weekly and monthly project assignments with the assistance of supportive team members and leadership. You will work closely with an experienced Project team who will support your success while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

This position offers a competitive salary. Mileage and a cell phone allowance are provided as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage IT projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex server and network technical issues.
  • Implementation of various Backup technologies.
  • Technical understanding and practical experience with Microsoft M365 and Azure environment.
  • Assist Tier 1 and 2 project techs with complex technical solutions.
  • Configure systems and install/update systems and applications software.
  • Prepare for and conduct project kickoff meetings with clients.
  • Conduct regular action-oriented project status meetings with all key project stakeholders.
  • Identify potential areas of improvement within the Client’s business during the project work.
  • Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT projects.
  • Continuous industry education

  • Maintain and grow client relationships.

Experience & Education Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience designing and implementing Microsoft Windows server and virtualization environments.
  • 3+ years' experience designing, building, and administrating Windows platforms and cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge on Azure AAD, M365 and Intunes
  • Experience working with Fortinet firewalls and Project management qualifications would be an added advantage
  • University or post-graduate degree or equivalent in computer science, IT disciplines, or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft Certifications (I.E. Azure, M365).
  • Cisco Certifications such as CCNA would be an added advantage.

Work Conditions:

  • Salaried full-time position
  • Position will include work from a variety of locations including office settings (Shing Digital office and our client's locations), onsite/offsite, and potentially cold, and dusty locations.
  • Occasionally work overtime to meet client deadlines or system malfunction fixes.
  • Requires valid driver’s license and vehicle.
  • Must be approved to work in Canada.
