Reporting to the Board of Directors of Prairie Storm Minor Hockey Association (PSMHA), the Executive Director will assume a leadership role as the main contact for the Association, while liaising with the membership and other key stakeholders to plan, guide, support, and execute the strategic vision and mission, and objectives of PSMHA.

- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Education or training in Business Administration, Marketing, or Information Technology or a combination of training/education and work experience an asset;
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment and experience with volunteer Boards and committees an asset but not required, and;
- A passion for hockey
Job Description
The Executive Director will be the main contact for the organization, liaising with other organizations, the membership, and the Board of Directors to plan, guide, support, and execute the vision and mission, and objectives of Prairie Storm Minor Hockey Association (PSMHA).
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide the main point of contact for the Association for external stakeholders;
- Act as a liaison with Hockey Regina Inc. (HRI), Hockey Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan AA Hockey League (SAAHL), and South Saskatchewan Female Hockey League (SSFHL) and attend meetings as required;
- Works to ensure the strategic vision of the Board for PSMHA is achieved;
- Orientate and support current and future board members;
- Develop and present an Executive Director Report at monthly Board meetings;
- Develop and present reports and provide recommendations to the Board on strategic initiatives as directed by the Board;
- Use existing data to forecast budget, development and registration;
- Provide and communicate to the Association on registration dates and deadlines (should be the same year/year);
- Oversee a full time Admin Assistant
This is a remote position, serving the communities of Balgonie, White City, Emerald Park and Pilot Butte. Preference will be given to applicants residing within our communities.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
