Executive Director

Are you looking for an opportunity to put your leadership and business management skills to work in a sector that’s changing the world? We offer a friendly, fun community-focused work environment with a family vibe. Along with a comprehensive benefits package, you’ll be eligible to become a member of this worker’s cooperative, which means you’re a co-owner and have a say in how we do things as well as share in our success through dividends. We’re super proud to have achieved a B-Corp designation, affirming that we have met high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency in a number of business and community-related areas. If this has caught your attention, could the wineries, artisanal foods, local artists, endless nature trails, lakes and unique shops in the beautiful Cowichan Valley be your next job destination?

With an eye for finance, you can analyze the numbers to ensure appropriate profit margins, increase efficiencies, and assess capacity. You also love growing and developing the business, keeping an ear to the ground for, and seeking new opportunities where we can contribute even more to the ever-changing renewable energy sector. Armed with these two skill sets, you’re excited about the opportunity to take on a new challenge and lead this company into a profitable, impactful future.

Some (but not all) of your responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Organized, meticulous, attention to detail and technologically savvy
  • Able to inspire, motivate and lead a team and foster a strong culture
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience with having challenging conversations
