The Role

The Director of Marketing (DOM) will be responsible for leading all marketing initiatives in the Company, including client and internal marketing programs. Utilizing existing and new marketing and creative concepts, the DOM will develop the marketing strategies to achieve client objectives and to promote the Company to prospective and existing clients. Utilizing your creative experience, combined with our internal teams and supplier partners, you will create event activations that are dynamic, memorable and have measurable outcomes. You will participate in determining the future strategy of the Company, support client relationships, grow revenue, and support a positive work environment with our Company Values. Exhibiting initiative and self-management, the successful candidate will be able to set their objectives in consultation with the Executive Team and achieve their goals independently.


  • Creative Client Proposals: Participate in strategy discussion; lead ideation; create high quality proposals and pitch decks including renderings and/or graphic design to develop client presentations.
  • Develop and grow the experiential marketing business with existing and new clients.
  • Client identification and discovery with account management
  • Presenting concepts to clients
  • Provide cross functional marketing support for 1) Event Activations; 2) Training; 3) Fleet Management; and other business pillars of the Company.
  • Build the Company’s B2B digital marketing channel to effectively demonstrate capabilities utilizing social media platforms and web site.
  • Develop a team of high performing supplier partners to support marketing activities, such as graphic designers, copy writers, asset production, etc.
  • Encourage a positive work environment focused on team support, coaching, and Core Values.

Measures of Success

Client-Based Marketing Initiatives

1. Event Success: This includes measuring the success of events, which encompasses tracking ROI for clients, brand engagement metrics, and lead generation efforts tied to specific events.

  • ROI calculations for each event.
  • Brand engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments).
  • Number of qualified leads generated from events.
  • Attendance rates, attendee satisfaction scores and testimonials.
  • Achievement of event-specific objectives.
  • Create and/or update client debrief presentations and create case studies after each event.

2. Client Satisfaction: Ensuring our clients are satisfied with the brand activations and marketing campaigns we create for them is paramount.

  • Client satisfaction scores and feedback.
  • Post-campaign surveys and reviews.

Company-Based Marketing Initiatives

1. Social Media Engagement: This includes growing our presence on social media to connect with potential clients and to inspire new and existing clients through the use of our innovative and clever use of social media.

  • Likes, shares, and comments on social media posts.
  • Click-through rates and website traffic from social media.
  • Growth in social media followers.
  • Brand awareness metrics.
  • Thought leadership indicators, such as industry-specific content.

2. Client Growth: This focuses on the preparation, support and effectiveness of presentation decks, responses to requests for information, and the quantity and quality of client proposals in expanding our client base.

  • Effectiveness of presentation decks in attracting new clients.
  • Response rates and conversions from requests for information.
  • Sales revenue growth and profitability of the Event Activation business.
  • Present a minimum of one event activation proposal per month to a new or existing client.
  • Formalizing presentations and proposals, including: Developing a template process, finding key suppliers and generating an efficient method to create presentations and proposals.

3. Industry Recognition: Receiving recognition within the automotive and/or marketing industry for our work will lead to a number of benefits including better quality pipeline of potential employees, growing existing client business and attracting new clients within and outside of the automotive industry. This includes planning for, applying, and winning various awards.

  • Number of awards won or nominations received.
