Daycare Supervisor-Maternity Leave

We are seeking a full time Supervisor with (R.E.C.E) Registered Early Childhood Educator qualifications for a maternity leave.

Qualifications
Early Childhood Education diploma or provincially recognized equivalent.
Registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or teaching in a childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early education practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Negative criminal record check.
• Food handlers certification is an asset
• "G" class license is an asset.
• We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Daycare Supervisor to lead and manage our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the daycare center.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements.
• Supervise and support a team of childcare educators.
• Develop and implement educational programs and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children.
• Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping.
• Address any issues or concerns from staff, parents, or regulatory bodies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
