Our community is Edmonton and all of Northern Alberta, and the people we serve are our fellow Albertans, who need help to resolve their everyday legal problems.
As Community Relations Manager you will play a key role in shaping our community engagement strategies with our community partners, donors, and volunteers, fostering positive relationships to benefit the people we serve.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Supervise and support our Volunteer and Communications Team, setting clear priorities and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Build Connections: Develop and maintain positive relationships with community leaders, organizations, and influencers to enhance our reputation and engagement.
- Program Evaluation: Manage our client outcomes evaluation processes, ensuring positive impacts for the people we serve.
- Create Impact: Plan and execute community relations initiatives, ensuring our participation in community events and promoting the organization.
- Support Fund Development: Collaborate with key team members to develop and implement fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects with a focus on community relations.
- Communication Expertise: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. With experience in developing communication plans and knowledge of donor relations.
- Experience: Bachelor's degree in community relations, communications, marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in community relations and supervisory roles.
