Full job description
CSN Herbers East is looking for a dedicated Collision Estimator to join our team. As part of Lift's commitment to excellence, this role offers the opportunity for career growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
In partnership with CSN Collision, Lift Auto Group (Lift), leading operator and consolidator in the collision repair industry with a strong presence across British Columbia, Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, with ambitious plans for further expansion nationwide.
Overview/Responsibilities:
- Utilize dealership and automotive repair knowledge to accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed repair estimates.
- Collaborate with autobody technicians to ensure accurate assessment of repair needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair estimates, upselling additional services when necessary, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Accurately completes estimates according to company standard operations procedures for estimates and parts.
- Ensures customers leave with a clear understanding of their insurance and are aware of any required deductibles.
- Handle cash transactions related to estimates and repairs with professionalism and accuracy.
- Support sales efforts by effectively communicating repair estimates to customers and promoting additional services as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience in an estimating role within the collision and repair industry is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle damage and repair requirements.
- A strong understanding of private insurance companies’ guidelines;
- Proven track record of upselling services while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and sales techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing tasks efficiently
