Reporting to the Department Leaders, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Overview

• Brings a positive attitude each every day
• Greeting customers and assisting them with questions and recommendations
• Packages, labels, and prices pre-made cakes
• Fills customer special orders and quotes accurate pricing, both in person and by phone
• Designs, prepares, and decorates cakes according to customer specifications
• Answers customers’ questions about food ingredients, cake designs and other aspects of the baked goods
• Arranges baked goods in the display cases and on shelves and counters
• Makes certain that displays are filled with products and not low on merchandise or empty
• Ensures that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors
• Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
• Performs any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders

Street Credentials

• You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
• You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
• You possess strong customer service skills
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You work well with others in a high-pressure environment
• You have 1+ years of experience working as a Cake Decorator or related field preferred
• Shifts may require an early morning start from 6am to 8am
• You have a valid work authorization in Canada
