Position Overview:

In this newly created position, you'll work closely with Radventures' Founder/Director and General Manager with support to play to your strengths in developing and implementing strategies that grow revenue & drive sales.

We value your expertise and will empower you to tackle various crucial tasks across business development, sales and marketing whilst bringing ideas to the table that you are excited to implement and execute.

As a strategic thinker and highly organized individual, your adaptability will transcend a standard 9-5 working routine in order to capitalize on peak periods and growth opportunities and you will always be prepared to shift your focus in order to have the most positive effect, relishing in the challenge of achieving the goals and targets that we set together whilst sharing in our success.

Although your initial primary objective will be to grow Radventures current crop of offerings, your involvement and input into the development of new sister companies in the travel & hospitality realm will be welcomed, with a long term view to greater involvement in the growth of these businesses in the future.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth of Sales & Revenue: Bring our vision to life through the creation and implementation of a business development growth plan.

Winning New Business & Nurturing Important Partnerships: Improve existing ITO, OTA, wholesaler, travel agent and local hotel partnerships by increasing business volume whilst actively & continuously implementing strategies to win new business through a variety of sales channels, trade shows and networking opportunities.

Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis to track market trends and competitor offerings, preparing regular reports & updates that will aid in assessing our progress towards our goals.

Marketing Excellence: Lead the development and maintenance of marketing materials, both digital and physical for B2B and direct to consumer.

Product & Service Accuracy: Ensure product information is accurate and up to date for public and private distribution.

Sales Enhancement: Refine B2C sales processes, upselling, and lead conversion strategies.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of the Canadian Rockies tourism & travel industry
  • A proven track record in business development, sales and marketing, ideally within the travel & tourism industry
  • Highly articulate, with fluency in English and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • College or university education in business, sales or marketing
  • Technology proficiency and familiarity with various sales & marketing tools

Position Type, Hours & Location:

In this flexible hybrid remote position, the successful candidate will be expected to effectively balance and manage their commitments between:

  • Regular in person meetings, collaborations & work at our office in Banff
  • Regular in person meetings with partners and sales missions in the Bow Valley
  • Occasional in person meetings and sales missions across Canada and overseas

A minimum of 40 hours per week is expected, but we encourage a motivated hire to work as needed to maximize earning potential and contribute to the company's growth.

Given the nature of the position and the regular requirement for in person presence in the Bow Valley, we request that only those currently located in or prepared to travel often to the Bow Valley apply.

Rewards at Radventures:

Compensation: A negotiable starting salary based on full time 40 hours per week, ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, complemented by uncapped monthly performance-driven bonuses or revenue sharing that we are also prepared to negotiate with the ideal candidate to further incentivize growth.

In our current incentive system, a top performer should expect to increase their annual income to over $100,000+.

Salary: $60,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
