The Opportunity

Howe Sound Brewpub serves award-winning ales and lagers fresh from the brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood.

We are currently seeking reliable and passionate Brewer, Assistant to join our impressive team. If you are recognized for being passionate, motivated, energetic and organized, we would love to meet you!

What You’ll Do

  • Brewing support
  • Cleaning – CIP of Fermenters and Brite Tanks
  • Keg washing & keg filling
  • Packaging – Work on canning line, labeling cans, and stacking pallets of finished beer
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and facility.
  • Data Entry – Cellaring, cleaning, and packaging logs
  • General housekeeping
  • Understanding and practicing all internal SOPs and chemical handling.
  • Ad hoc duties as requested

What You Have

  • Ability to lift 55lbs repetitively
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and solution-oriented
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
  • Enjoys working under pressure and at a fast pace
  • Experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
