Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food service industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with patrons and provide excellent service will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Take customer orders efficiently using a POS system, ensuring accurate processing of transactions.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, demonstrating strong cash handling skills.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure an enjoyable experience.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and service as needed.
• Uphold all health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year previous experience in bartending
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
• A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
• Cocktail experience and training advantageous
