Associate Lawyer

Job Overview
We are seeking two (2) skilled Associate Lawyers to join our legal team based out of downtown Winnipeg, practicing in either family law, corporate law, criminal law, or real estate. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of legal experience in their given practice area.

Duties

-Coordinate with support staff and provide appropriate instructions during course of file
- Conduct legal research
- Draft legal documents, take detailed notes, and document time as required
- Represent clients in legal matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on various legal issues

Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited Canadian law school
- Admitted to the provincial bar association and a member in good standing
- Proven experience in legal drafting, writing, and research
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
