Afternoon Baker

Overview
We are seeking an Afternoon Baker to join our team and help produce high-quality breads and baked goods during our afternoon shift. A strong knowledge or interest of bread making techniques is required, as you will be shaping, baking and preparing a variety of breads & baked goods to meet our production needs.

Duties

• Produce breads and baked goods to meet daily orders and maintain stock levels.
• Follow established recipes and baking techniques to ensure consistent quality.
• Shape, proof, and bake breads with attention to texture, appearance and taste.
• Notify the Head Baker of any ingredients needed or equipment issues.
• Assist with seasonal recipe changes and provide input on new bread ideas.
• Keep the work area, equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow all health and safety standards, using equipment propberly and safetly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Professional Baking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
