We currently have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Admin Support Team member at our Stewiacke clinic. The admin support team member is responsible for handling front line administrative duties within a multi-disciplinary health clinic. This position is the first contact that our clients have when calling and entering the clinic, so being approachable and having fantastic customer service skills is required!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and other guests to the clinic
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
  • Answer phones, emails, and respond to social media questions
  • Manage client registration, insurance and billing
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to client and staff inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensure the clinic is kept clean and laundry is managed
  • Assist health care providers with clients when required

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working with the public, and providing excellent customer service
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail
  • Must be computer literate and have an understanding of how to use general office equipment (phones, printers, copiers and scanners)
  • Previous customer service or administration experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person
  • Experience and knowledge of ‘Jane’ software is a major asset.
  • Must be willing and able to work all shifts; days, evenings and saturdays
  • Must have clean criminal record and vulnerable sector checks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
