Lakeshore will be located in the Greater Toronto Area and plans to offer 24/7 emergency care alongside a comprehensive array of specialty veterinary services. At the root of everything we do at Animal Health Partners is our guiding mission to provide pets with access to the same quality of healthcare available to their owners. Animal Health Partners and VetStrategy are partnering to build Lakeshore, the second AHP location, as our next step toward that mission. We are looking to hire a Dentistry and Oral Surgeon (DOS) Liaison for our 24/7 Emergency and specialty hospital.

Lakeshore will share many of the same amenities as the existing Animal Health Partners location in an expanded footprint. The technical proficiency and medical equipment at Toronto Animal Health Partners equal or exceed that found in many sophisticated human hospitals; our 3-Tesla MRI provides clinicians with exceptional diagnostic capabilities. Furthermore, AI-enabled software systems and our hospital design, informed by veterinarians in our network, help support our clinicians by keeping their focus on delivering high-quality care to patients.

About the role

Under the supervision of the Office Manager and with support from the Practice Manager the duties and responsibilities of the Dentistry and Oral Surgeon Liaison, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsible for accepting referrals from various channels and booking the referrals according to Ezyvet and/or doctor specific protocols.

Ensure all patients are booked accurately with the appropriate and accompanying testing/procedures. DOS liaison will be required to provide information including the rationale, function, and cost of both insured and non-insured testing.

Responsible for communicating with their paired doctor(s) regarding any abnormalities or difficulties in scheduling/booking.

Preparation and maintenance of medical records, Rvetlink referral portal between sister hospital. (Toronto Animal Health Partners)

Cashing out clients and mitigating any issues pertaining to DOS client billing

Submitting insurances for clients

Additional tasks assigned dependent on hospital needs

Full-time Medical Office Assistant & Personal Assistant

Position Summary:MOA/PA required for an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist with a busy, sub-specialty, tertiary-referral practice with academic obligations at the Vancouver General Hospital. The successful candidate is expected to serve as the primary point of contact with the all patients, referring offices and medical professionals. He/she will work in close collaboration with the surgeon to promote the growth and ongoing success of the practice. This is an opportunity to build a strong Medical Office Assistant skill set. The position is expected to be challenging and very rewarding.

MOA Duties:

� Ensure physicians productivity by maintaining clinical calendar & scheduling all patient appointments

� Maintaining up to date electronic patient records � experience and skill with Plexia is an asset

� Document scanning and filing into Plexia

� Filing and responding to incoming electronic faxes, which includes test results, referral letters, pharmacy communications, etc

� Patient education & logistic support to patients for clinic visits

� Timely return of phone calls with appropriate and diligent documentation

� Flexibility to change schedules when required

� Maintaining good working relationships with referring office medical office assistants

� Coordinating patient referrals to other specialists

� Ability to thoroughly assess and submit OR bookings for multiple surgical locations. Maintaining a positive professional relationship with all OR booking staff

� Thorough, accurate and up to date billing. Must frequently audit and follow up on outstanding billings

� Strong computer skills � must be well versed in the EMR systems (preferably Plexia) as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Calendar and Dropbox

� Logging all academic activities (teaching, continuing medical education) and ensure accurate and up to date CME reporting

Personal Assistant Tasks:

� Dealing with electronic correspondence with in a timely fashion (email administrative support)

� Ordering office supplies

� Maintaining currency of professional documents (i.e. updating surgeon�s CV)

� Meeting support - Responsible for booking resources for academic meetings such as rooms, audio-visual equipment and refreshments

� Creation of meeting minutes for practice improvement administrative meetings with surgeon

� Able to make and manage spreadsheets to enhance clinical efficiency or academic projects

� Managing surgeon�s academic schedule (academic/administrative meetings)



Salary:$20-30 per hour, based on experience, education and tasks undertaken



Requirements:

MOA certification or equivalent

Previous experience working in a surgical office (particularly within an academic environment) is preferred, but not required

Completing a criminal record check



Summary of Position:

Academic ENT practice, where the patients are the focus.

Full Time: 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday.

Language: English (required), any other languages are an asset.

We are an experienced cosmetic & hair restoration clinic located in Edmonton, Alberta. We are looking to add a hair transplant surgeon to our specialized team. While an experienced surgeon would be preferred, we are open to training. This addition must have great attention to detail and an artistic eye. The surgeon must be on the CPSA register with a license to work in Canada, and speak excellent English. Preference is given to those with at least one year of postgraduate surgical training.

The surgeon must always be polite and considerate, provide clear explanations that are easy for patients to understand, listen to what the patient has to say and involve them in decisions about treatment. We want a personable addition to our team who values efficiency and patient care. Our clinic focuses on patient education - our goal is to find a physician who is keen to appear on camera to further promote patient education.

During the procedures, you will be supported by our team of experienced nurses and other clinic staff in order to maintain a comfortable, healthy and desirable working environment.

Excellent hand-eye coordination for manual graft excision

Ability to perform follicular unit transplantation

Ability to safely administer local anesthesia

Skills to manage critical situations

Hairline Design (Face, Eyebrow & Beard)

Capable performing incisions by hand for graft placement

Comfortable monitoring and controlling homeostasis including suturing

Supervision of graft placement
