They should also have experience advising clients on worthwhile renovations and how to stage their home. 

Real Estate Broker training and education 

A Real Estate Broker candidate will need to have at least a high school diploma. Real Estate Brokers also need to have a Real Estate licence to practice in any province or territory in Canada. A good Real Estate Broker candidate should also have a membership at the major real estate board in their region, such as the Real Estate Council of Ontario. Some cities may require a Real Estate Broker to be registered with their real estate board, like the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), as well as their provincial/territorial membership.
