The fast-growing start-up company uses Indeed Sponsored Jobs and Company Pages to scale its recruiting efforts, attract quality applicants and build its workplace and consumer brand.
zenGOT is a user-friendly platform that allows users to order on-demand home services instantly. The company connects customers with fully vetted home service providers, thereby removing the responsibility from its customers.
zenGOT launched in Vancouver in January 2018 and has since also launched in Calgary, Toronto and Edmonton. The company is currently onboarding in ten cities, expanding its operations in Ottawa, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. Due to its fast pace of growth, zenGOT requires a reliable source of applicants that will enable the company to recruit a high volume of qualified service providers to fulfill the requests coming from its growing consumer base.
When the company first launched, zenGOT was manually posting jobs to Indeed. The company eventually sought out a more efficient solution to enhance the visibility of its job postings and started investing in Sponsored Jobs.
“We started implementing Sponsored Jobs because we needed a scalable solution and one that would allow us to track and measure all of our job openings in various markets,” says Andrew Jenkins, Vice President, Operations. “What we found was that Indeed delivers a better job seeker pool, with quality applicants who are more willing to partake in the steps to apply for our roles.”
The Indeed team worked closely with zenGOT to upload job postings efficiently, set budgets and measure results. “The most important thing we look for in a recruitment partner is optimizing our visibility to job seekers and support. Our Indeed representative is always just a phone call away, and we can gain more insight into our performance metrics such as our apply rate. We used to do all of this manually.”
zenGOT has also reached a new milestone in its recruitment efforts and has gained Featured Employer status, which has maximized the exposure of its company brand and job openings.

zenGOT has witnessed incredible results since partnering with Indeed, achieving a 5.8% click-through rate between March and April 2018 – over 55% higher than the Canada-wide average of 3.7% during this same period. zenGOT also exceeded the average apply rate in certain job categories in which the company’s Cleaning, Errand Running, Handy Person, Yard Work and Pet Services listings were placed.
