How To Report a Job

The Report job feature lets you report jobs you believe shouldn't be on Indeed. These jobs may violate Indeed's Terms of Service or job posting policies. This feature helps you report fraudulent, spammy, fake, or inaccurate jobs.

Important: This feature shouldn't be used to ask general questions about Indeed or its product, or to report technical issues.

Reporting a job from the job post

Find the job you want to report.
Open the job description.
Scroll to the bottom of the job post.
Select the Report job button and fill out the form.

Using My Jobs to report a job

Go to My jobs.
Find the job you'd like to report in the Saved or Applied tab.

If the job is in your Saved tab:

Click or tap the job to open the job post.
Follow the steps in the section above.

If the job is in your Applied tab:

Click or tap the three dots to open the options menu.
Select Report job.

Fill out the Report this job form and submit your confidential responses.

Possible reasons for reporting a job

Whenever you report a job, you can pick one of the following reasons:

Offensive or discriminatory

You can report jobs that:

Include offensive, inappropriate, or explicit content
Show a preference based on personal characteristics, like age, gender, race, or disability, instead of work skills

Fake job

Something indicates that this job doesn't exist. For example:

Jobs labelled "talent bank" that are created only to collect resumes
Paid surveys or medical trials
Unpaid jobs offering experience or exposure

This includes scams impersonating a real company

Inaccurate

There's an inaccuracy in the job title, description, salary, location, or other details.
These issues may not always be in violation of our quality standards. However, some information may need to be updated.

This is not a job post for an employment opportunity.
This post may be:

Advertising services
Promoting a company or app
A job seeker advertising their resume

Other

Select Other if your issue doesn't fall into one of these groups
Make sure to provide a detailed description

What happens if a job violates our guidelines?

If we reviewed your report and found the job to be in violation of Indeed's guidelines, it may be removed or edited.
These reports are extremely valuable in our efforts to remove spam, fraud, and low-quality postings.
They help make Indeed a safer place for our job seekers.

Important: Reporting a job doesn't guarantee we will take action.
