What is serious misconduct?

Serious misconduct means actions that:

Harm the safety of Indeed's platform
Compromise the operational integrity of our platform

Serious misconduct has two main types:

Platform abuse
User safety violations

However, this list is not exhaustive. Indeed has the final say as to what action qualifies as serious misconduct.

What happens if you breach this policy

We will suspend your account.
This applies to all profiles linked to your account.

Can you appeal?

Many serious violations may not be eligible for an appeal.
A remediation path may be available in limited situations where required by local regulations.
