Indeed’s Email Policy

Indeed’s email system can only be used to talk to job seekers who have applied for your jobs. If you misuse the system, Indeed may remove your jobs or limit your access to it.

Why this policy exists

When you post a job, you can use our email system to reply to people who apply. This tool is meant only for communicating with job seekers about the job they applied for. We will take action if the email system is used for other reasons.

Here are some examples of misuse:

  • Asking a job seeker to apply for the same job again on a different website.

  • Sending spam to job seekers about other, unrelated jobs.

  • Scammers contacting job seekers to get private information.

Using the email system in the wrong way hurts a job seeker’s trust and can put them in danger. We must control our email system to protect job seekers from bad actors.

This policy applies everywhere. If you do not follow it, your jobs will not be visible on Indeed.
