Job Description

Ace’s K-9 Care is seeking reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team!

We are currently hiring:

  • 1 Full-Time Employee (30–40 hours/week, flexible schedule)
  • 1 Part-Time Employee (approximately 20 hours/week)

If you are passionate about working with animals and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dog suites, runs, and common areas
  • Feed animals and administer medications as required
  • Supervise group play and ensure safe interactions
  • Monitor animal health and behavior
  • Provide general care and support for all animals
  • Assist with daily operations and additional assigned duties

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer service skills, patience, and professionalism
  • Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

  • Previous animal care, kennel, or daycare experience
  • Leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, hands-on role
  • Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Schedule Options

Weekdays:

  • 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (straight shift)
  • 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (split shift)
  • 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Weekends:

  • 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (split shift)
  • 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (straight shift)
