Great if you like fast pace environments

Indeed featured review

Very fast paced. You definitely learn a lot in a small amount of time. Lots of growth. If you really work for a position you will get it. Hardest part is that you're always working and social like isn't much there.

amazing place to work in, and people there are like family

I loved working there, and because of my position that I had there, I was so happy to work with the head office team they were so helpful, and I learnt a lot from this company.

Absolutely horrible and toxic place to work at

This company overall is horrible. The upper management doesn't care about anything but the sales, leaving the store managers to deal with other problems. The stress that comes with this job is NOT worth what you're getting paid for, despite how big this company is and how rich the CEO, this company is cheap when it comes to their employees. The "benefits" that come with the job? Non-existent. The management team always boasts about helping each other yet all they do is talk behind each other's back and complain. Nobody is productive and nobody cares about their job here. BUT if you do care about your job, all the weight is on your shoulder and you have to do a 4 person job by yourself. Unless you're looking for a job as a joke, I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend working for this company.

Great place to learn but the workflow needs to be revised

Working at ZARA means working in a VERY dynamic environment. Pros: - Teamwork is everything. You can really develop your skills in that, and leadership as well if you are a senior associate - Early access to the latest trends and the coolest items. ZARA is always extremely fashion-forward, and no one can deny that. Even if you don't watch the runways, you will know what is hot at the moment just by working on the floor or on cash. - Employee discount is great. - The day is never boring and the time flies by. - The breaks are balanced and are long enough (30 min or 1 hour depending on your shift duration). - You learn to be stress-resistant and stand your ground when being pressed by customers. - The managers will protect you in case of conflict (providing you really didn't do anything wrong). - During sale, you can easily snatch the best items or rare sizes. Feels good to know that that jacket in XS of yours is the last in the whole GTA! Cons: - Not enough training for new employees. They do an orientation, but really you will have to learn as you go. - As a result, there's a lot of criticism that is not always presented properly. - The fast-paced environment creates confusion. - CUSTOMERS. They complain about not being respected, but really it's them who do not respect you and your hard work. Some of them are nice, and they make your day. But sometimes they might be rude right away or treat you like a servant. But the worst thing is what they do to the merchandise. Imagine that you have about 15 to 30 people shopping at once, 50 if it's rush -

Pros
