supervisor (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 30 November 2018
I was informed that the training is paid. Worked there 4 days (did 40 hours) and realized that it is not my type of work environment. I informed HR about my decision and asked how can I get my money for "paid" training. I was told that they will send me check to my home address. In the end they did not pay me a penny. I was very frustrated. I thought that it is a big and responsible company, but as usual Russians showed their face.
CASHIER (Current Employee) – North York, ON – 16 April 2018
Working as a cashier can be at times a bit stressful especially during the holiday season or any Russian celebrations. But in short you can make a lot of friends there the hours and shifts are very flexible and many students work here as a summer job. In short, this is a good place to work for a short while to earn some cash on your downtime.

They pay you minimum wage but make you do tasks that are for people getting paid more and whose job it actually is. They have also on more than one occasion lost my paycheck and the dairy manager is clueless
Cashier, Grocery stocker (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 14 December 2016
Being a cashier of Yummy Market is very demanding considering you must work over 5 hours in order to obtain a break. Nearly no benefits are provided. Lots of hours given but terrible management that doesn't really care for their employees.
Seafood Clerk (Current Employee) – Vaughan, ON – 19 November 2016
My overall experience working at Yummy Market was a positive one. I gained the communication skills I need in order to move forward in my future job/career. Although, it was just a part-time job I learned a lot from my manager, and the co-workers,

Good place to work. Learn a lot. Requires decent amount of thinking on your feet, have a big workload but payed pretty good. Management was either hardworking and knew a lot but was tyrannical or very soft spoken and tried to be friends with everyone very little middle ground.
Packaging Operator / Grocery Clerk (Former Employee) – Maple, ON – 14 April 2016
Job was enjoyable, management team very friendly and helpful, training is on-going. There was nothing difficult about the job, there is some lifting of boxes inside and out of the freezer which would probably be the hardest for most people, but i did not mind. Overall it was a fun experience and i gained alot of grocery knowledge from this environment.
Dairy Clerk (Former Employee) – Vaughan, ON – 24 February 2016
The job allowed me to build customer service and team work skills. Also, it gave me experience working in refrigerated spaces. Co-workers were very supportive other than the fact that management switched up the bosses on us every few months which left us to build a new relationship with a new boss often.
Deli and Bakery Clerk (Former Employee) – Vaughan, ON – 11 January 2016

Assistant Manager of Stock Department (Current Employee) – Maple,ON – 27 September 2015
On-going training, various opportunities for young people; however, lack of management skills still appears. The hardest part of the job was to develop a daily strategy by managing time and human resources on a regular basis day.
