Material Handler (Former Employee) –  North York, ON11 October 2018
It was good when I first started, after a few months it became boring and basic. best part was the friendships I made. Have orders staged for delivery for the next day and future orders, stock orders into file and send emails to dispatch and customer service.
Pros
Staff I worked with we're great
Cons
No lunch offered had to buy my own.

My Worst Employer
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Delta, BC5 October 2018
Very poor management. Managers do not stick to their words and keep changing their statements according to their convenience. Very bad place to work. Employees often have to work extra hours.

Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) –  New Westminster, BC29 August 2018
Did not pay overtime sometimes, worked a minimum of 8 hours a day and did not receive your next days schedule until the night before. Deliveries were sloppy and uncoordinated.

Security Officer (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON27 August 2018
Was a security guard there. Simple place to work at. Not much to say as it is a smaller place then what I am used to.

Workers are nice and place is tidy.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator (Current Employee) –  Milton, ON1 August 2018
It is usually quite busy on any given day, and the work is steady. Safety SHOULD always be number one, but that does not always seem to be the case as productivity is heavily pushed all the time.

Customer Service Rep / Last Mile Dispatch (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON27 June 2018
Pays minimum wage (below average logistics company standard) high rate for both employees and managers turnover. You will meet new employee and managers every week. And you will see people leave often. No training provider. Poor equipment. Employee are left to fend for themselves with issues
Pros
Experience and friendly coworker
Cons
Minimum wage, poor management, stressful hours, constant change to work schedule, no manager around when you need them, so many claims from customers. I could go on and on but please, find better jobs. XPO lastmile division should be your very very very last choice in life for a Job

Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON4 June 2018
Long days with no appreciation from Senior Management.
Effort is made by Management with regards to Employee Engagement but only for show and is not perceived as genuine as pictures are taken for any and everything to post on company's social media site
Pros
Great Compensation package
Cons
long hours expected and not appreciated

Not a good place
Operations Manager (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON25 April 2018
This is a very poorly run organization that has no concern for its employees. You are seen as a tool and once no longer needed you are discarded. I would not recommend this company and would suggest that you stay away.
Owner Operators be aware! Stay away from this company. They will bleed you dry and toss you away once they don't need or don't like you.

Dispatcher/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Lachine, QC23 April 2018
They have a great name and reputation in Europe and in the USA but look closely to the Canadian comments... Scary! Especially their Last Mile division! No onboarding process, no training, no work culture, cheap Swedish table as a desk, no values and very poor management, you will meet a new manager every 6-12 months and a new colleague almost every month, not because the business is growing or because they are bad but because they have enough! Good luck if you are joigning XPO Last Mile Canada inc.
Pros
Free coffee, bright offices
Cons
Can't name all, not enough space!

Could be better or worse...
Inbound Associate (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON18 April 2018
An OK place to work. Terrible, extremely rude, negative management. Nice fellow staff overall however. While technically there is job security if you do the job well. I was a temp for over a year. Some have been there for over 4 years and company still wont hire full time yet you will likely get 40 hours a week minimum anyways. Overtime is part of the job culture. They pay time and a half right at 40 hours. Only real benefit that comes to mind.

This place is a joke
Dispatcher (Former Employee) –  Lachine, QC4 April 2018
The vice president is the main source of all the problem. He is very arrogant and rude. He thinks he is always right and his jokes are funny. He blames everything on his managers and employees. It's a revolving door, people are coming and going every week. Working environment is super stressful, drivers are out of control. You never get your lunch break. You always have to work on holidays. All the senior employees quit and there is no one to give you proper training. Worst job ever!
Pros
Paid on time
Cons
Everything
