WSP Employee Review

Fluctuations in work

Good place to work with high pay and decent benefits but available work highly dependent on stakeholders and weather. Difficult to get opportunity to move up.

Open workplace with good strong mentors very progressive

WSP is great. Lots of support and guidance. Good group structure. Very little motivation to over achieve or bring in clients. Only PMs get bonus based on performance. Raises have been held back. Some long days but there is a good work/life balance .

Pros

mentors, support, large group projects

Cons

few raises, pay is low, not much room to grow

Leadership widely recognised in the renewable energy industry

I joined WSP in a very rushed manner. They needed one person fo the Field Services crew and I jumped right into it. I tried to plan a lateral move within this business unit but it was not successful; hence I am not renewing my temporary contract

Pros

per diems on road trips

Cons

long hours

Low increment

By performance evolution, salary increment is not satisfactory at all. Even worker worked hard for company also, at the end of the year, company count employee as a number.
