Reviews for Process Engineer at Worley
Was a great place to work before the recession
Process Engineer (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 27 June 2017
This Australian company sought a Canadian presence and was a pleasant organization to work for in the Resources Sector. Unfortunately their Toronto branches never quite recovered from the shock of the 2008 recession and they eventually closed down operations.
Management was approachable and empathetic to the employee's situation. The workplace culture was friendly enough since the office was still relatively small (250 employees max) and people could get to know each other and collaborate.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the people. The hardest part of the job were the occasionally-challenging clients that made the engineering work/process difficult, but it was our job as consultants to manage that with respect and candidness.
Pros
RRSP matching, friendly culture, flex time
Cons
operations shut down due to recession

Good company to work for.
Lead Process Engineer (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 1 November 2016
WorleyParsons is a good company to work for. I was not fan of the management, but overall it was not bad. The best part of the job was that the resources were available to carry out the job. Most of my colleagues were cooperative. Learned quite a bit about pipelines. Can have your own working 8 hour day.
Pros
Available resources
Cons
Management needs improvement
