ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in Edmonton, AB

Can be a good place to work
A lot of opportunity to learn and grow while working on interesting projects. Connected with some amazing individuals and teams. However, if you don't know the right people or don't have a great deal of self-initiative, it can be easy to get pigeon-holed. Also, due to the nature of the work, job security is fairly low. Training support is also near non-existent.Lead Hand (unpaid) in Blackfalds, AB

Run! Don't walk.
Old school demeaning culture. Any possibility of advancement means sewering your co workers. They seem to love that. Watched a few friends sell there soul for advancement. If you speak up for yourself and others being lorded over you are labeled a "problem employee". I've never seen so many insecure goofs in my life. If you like kissing a*s your going to fit in like a glove. Electrical Engineer I in Toronto, ON

Poor Engineering Company
Scam don't go there. Try somewhere else that treat the employee like real human being. No consideration. The company doesn't have a heart. Not good for your career.Business Development Manager in Markham, ON

Blah
Company that struggles to transition out of oil and gas despite all the marketing. Management restructured every 18 months and those in the project execution side lost track of who was in charge. Work-life balance sucked and flexibility was low (not zero but far from great). What would you say about your employer?
