Great place to work!

Sr Business Analyst (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 26 February 2023

Company has a great work environment to work!Teams are good and everyone makes an effort to welcome you.However, since it is a crown corporation sometimes there can be a LOT of work or very LITTLE work. It all comes in waves.

Pros

Work life balance is the best I have ever had in my life, people are nice in general, everyone wants to help you move your tasks forward somehow, most people are friendly and acessible

Cons

Communication with other departments can be very tricky and bureaucratic.

This was the first organization I professionally worked for right out of college. I learned a lot and I also learned to be comfortable and not seek growth. This maybe the downside of being employed by a large organization is you become stale and don't seek growth

This employer operates like a cult.

I have never felt more dehumanized and belittled as I have working here. There is a herd mentally here that manipulates and degrades employees until they conform.....I left because I was sick from stress. The only prudent comparison I can make is its run like a cult. So happy to be done with the subhuman people i was surrounded by.
