A typical day at work would be answering the phone and writing down the names of the people who wanted to work that day. When an employer would call for an employee, I would got through the names that have called in that day and see who qualifies. If no one qualifies then I would go to the files and see who does and give them a call. I would perform drug testing for qualified applicants. I would also conduct interviews for permanent positions at certain company's. I would also take them through some videos and paper work after they have been approved for the job.
I learned how to handle certain people and attitudes.
The management was okay. The co-workers were management.
the hardest part of my job was when both managers would take off half the day to go shopping while still on the clock and left me there to do it all and answer all their calls.
The most enjoyable part of the job was finding qualified employees for the employers.
i had a lot of responsibility, which i loved.
