Stores Controller (Former Employee) – Eastleigh UK – 13 July 2013
Hard work but very rewarding. I gained quite a lot of knowledge on how air conditioning works & also the break down of what is used to make up a system. I had a very good boss & we spoke daily on how to move our branch forward & we did just that & increased sales massively through out my 4+ years with the company. The call outs at 03.00 am were the hardest part of the job as I was back in the branch by 07.30 each morning The summer months would be crazy & very very busy,But that is when im at my best I love the day to fly by because your on te go all day.
Looked after the employees
No Holiday time during the summer months, But enjoyed my winter holiday time
wolseley in Fort McMurray is a very poor atmosphere to work in daily
counter sales, order picker (Current Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 20 March 2018
My experience with wolseley in Fort McMurray was not the greatest. The management and staff are very unprofessional the language and way customers and their employees are treated in very distasteful. This is a very clicky work place good luck trying to fit in here unless you party hard and play in a band. There is little to no training for the counter so if your back ground in not dealing with plumbing good luck.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Former Employee) – Charlottetown, PE – 5 February 2018
was a good place to have a career in the Wholesale business. I learned a lot, both from Wolseley and our customers. The company provided lots of training for the employees and always was willing to help if the need arose
