Nice staffs, low pay
The pay isn't that great, they don't pay as they advertise in the job posting. The work is easy and staffs are nice, casual dress code is also a plus.

Supportive, wants to see you succeed, inclusive
I have been with WJS for a few years now, I love working for this company, everyone from my direct supervisor all the way up to the ceo are all supportive, and want to see you grow in your career. WJS invests in their employees, and are a huge advocate for individuals rights.

Not worth it
Don’t waste your time working g here. Central office has Poor management and supervisors. Don’t expect to be trained to their ‘standards’. Very snotty, very judgemental and Awful people. They will ignore you when asking for help and then judge you. Stay far away from this company.

Terrible management, high turn over due to authoritarian management
Terrible management!! Management is passive aggressive, critical but vague re expectations and sarcastic. Expectations of employees are unclear and paperwork and processes are constantly changing and inconsistently known/followed by management who contradict each other.

Disappointments
I worked for Vegreville WJS, and for a very long time the place was one of the best places to work in town. Most of the staff were there for the right reasons, and I believe the local managment tried to do the best that they could but were always blamed for things that they had no control over. It was a sad day to see this company turn into something that I no longer recogized. The culture became very negative and it seemed that everyone was out for themselves and forgot the reason we worked there. The clients, who deserved the best quality of life. Not people who bully and harassed other staff and clients. I know I'm black balled from this company and I honest have no idea why. Never had a bad performance review and I gave my notice and left. I also did my job, I did what I was asked to do by my superiors. Not sure how that turned a whole company against me. It's OK. It hurt at first but I'm better for it. I hope that the ones who read this and are in managment please look at what is going on, because the new managment and staff that are left, are not taking care of what the client needs.
