Medical Laboratory Assistant (Current Employee) - Seven Oaks, MB - 31 January 2023

This company has a mostly friendly work environment. They are very much concerned about employees' safety and is very much culturally diverse. The shifts are not the best considering it is shift work. Wages could be better considering our union for lab has been expired for going in 5 years, which makes you feel underpaid and unappreciated. Benefits are decent.

The most enjoyable part of my job are my clients. Workplace culture, what is that??? Hard to say about workplace culture. They don’t care about us. The management is weak.

Not a great organization. HR is hard to talk to , not helpful. The people who are new are not trained right and do not give good service

What is the best part of working at the company?There is no best part . Understaffed, for the last 30 yrs, no improvement in quality life balance on most units. Most of nurses I worked with were unhappy that they had a full time position and said they would leave if there was an alternative. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Management practices, most managers are not sympathetic with scheduling What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Toxic work environment and competitive What is a typical day like for you at the company?Awful , busy , never finish work on time

Very happy and good team rapport with Coordinators. Enjoy helping clients in the Community. Resource coordinators are very helpful and understanding .
