Ore Haul Labourer in Levack, ON

Not the hardest job
This job is easy but can get long. I found it is a good first job for someone looking to get into the mining industry, but advancement is pretty slow.

Management not there to help you. Your just another penny they will toss away too attempt too replace with a shinier one.
Management fired me when attempting to try and fluctuate hours, and denied me offering doctors note. They blantly told unemployment I did not offer a note. (They don’t care about your life…)

Run as far as you can!
Avoid the Ore Haul like the plague. Very toxic work environment just like many others have said. Fellow drivers are great, the management on the Ore Haul is a joke, and so is their equipment. Also switching between days and nights every 6 days will wear you down. The only thing decent about the job is the pay and it's only because you work 120 hrs every 2 weeks.

Really fun place to work, every bin is high priority
Not sure about others, but my supervisor rocks. Super busy and multitasking but will always stop for you. You are left alone to do your job if you’re doing it right. I consider I’m working for myself and make my own decisions which is awesome. Company is big and I’m on my fifth job. There will be a sixth when I find the right one, but for now these time-sensitive bins keep me busy.
