Good colleagues, poor management
It is a flexible job for people who are looking to work part time/full time but there has been more policy changes, which has limited employees aspects like creativity.

Great Entry Level Job
It was a great place to work before Amazon ruined everything. They changed the break time, the paid breaks, and how management treated employees as well... This doesn't feel like the real Whole Foods Market. It's just an Amazon Grocery store. I would highly recommend this place as your first job but do not expect to move up or plan to stay here for too long unless you don't have a choice and be a slave here for the rest of your life.

Politic, nepotism, and corporate BS
Barely any advancements on your job. Have to spend lot of time to lobby your supervisor to let you advance to other level. Work life balance is out of the table. Your job is to serve a customer. Get ready to get yelled, cursed, and sweared everyday. 16$/hr is not enough to compensate the trauma and horror you face from your coworkers, customer, and management. Wholefoods is Amazon. And by that, you just numbers.

Management expected too much from people. There was a lot of favouritism, it made it harder to move up in the store unless you were friends with the managers.

If there is a Wholefoods Store in my area, definitely I would apply a job.
Job at Wholefoods was simple. First of all, you'd have a team trainer to guide you through the job step by step. Also, the company provide Team Members lots of learning materials and keep educate you through your time there. It depends on which department you work for, your task would be slightly different but big difference is between opening and closing shifts.
