I really enjoyed my short time at Whitemud Ironworks Ltd. Gained tons of experience in stick welding, layouts and blueprints. The environment was pretty chill most days, but like any has stresses.

Great place to work, but I feel that I am under paid for the knowledge I possess. Great people, happy atmosphere. Part of my job was to create from drawing unique pieces of structural art.

Great company, great place to work & build a career

Working at WIW has been a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is wonderful. The people I work with are kind, team players. I find that the work/life balance is exceptional compared to other places.I believe if you work hard, you will be rewarded & there is always room to advance. I truly believe the company (and the people who work here) genuinely care about their employees and I am grateful to be a part of the team.

Great safety ,great people , room to advance

I have worked for white mud for several years ..I have always felt welcomed by every Forman and employee that I was introduced too. Whitemud always has up date safety and will not hesitate to get you the right tools for the job to ensure you can complete the task the best and safest way that you can ..I have never worked for a company that has been so dedicated to there workers and safety and I knew when I had joined there team that I was gonna learn from some of the best formans and journeyman in the industry and become the best Ironworker I could become. They will take the time to show you any aspect in the trade you want to learn and they help you focus on the things you need to progress on..they keep you up to date on all your safety certificates and will help push you threw your apprenticeship.. They give you opportunities to do it all . Finding a company where you feel great about going to work each day is hard to find in our industry ..your not just a number on a piece of paper to them and they go out of there way to let you know that ..

Pretty good company to work for

Good work environment. The guys are friendly and supportive. Worked there for 4 1/2 years and never had to worry about lay-offs. Safety is a high priority with whitemud so I felt very comfortable that I would come home safe and sound. Wages are competitive with industry standards.
