Good place

Fast paced, good place to learn, free bread, lots of overtime, job security. Mostly nice coworkers. Cons - Employees with high seniority stay in day shift only. If hired, you have to start night shift. Should be rotating shift as majority of the companies in GTA have rotation

Horrible Enployer

I was fired for having missed work despite having a doctors note, working with bread and food that goes to the public and having strep throat. I had approached them with the note and verbatim I was told "you could've had a doctors note for cancer you still missed too much time." The upper management is all chummy with each other but regularly dunk on the workers. And if you do have a grievance well, there's the union. But the union rep is by far one of the biggest offenders. Hands down, terrible workplace.

Pack cookies like a machine

Very fast-paced work, and after a few days of work your shoulders and wrists will give up. And if you call in sick, be ready to get suspended without any warnings. The coworkers are very nice, well most of them. Crew leaders are mostly good too. Favouritism is a big issue here, if supervisors like you, they will always put you on easy lines for work. Management is somewhat okay. I had to give two interviews and a physical durability test just for a general labour position. I mean is it really required just to pack cookies? Don't keep your hopes high if you ever work here, just work there unless you get a better job as this job is not worth staying for a long time.

Bad workplace with no life-work balance

I worked here for a few months and those were the worst months of my life. They lie to you and tell you there is room for growth when in fact, they play favourites and gossip a lot. They tell you they give you benefits right away (good luck with that), it is so hot in the bakery and zero work-life balance with their crazy shifts. Unfortunately I do not have anything good to say about this place
