West-Can Seal Coating (“West-Can”) first started in Ontario in 1946 as a small family business, at that time, they focused on being a local road builder and bridge contractor. In 1971, the organization expanded its operations and bought property in Durham, Ontario and became aggregate suppliers and asphalt contractors. In 1986, West-Can came to Western Canada, setting up in office in Delmany, Saskatchewan. West-Can originally focused its efforts in seal coating across Saskatchewan and Alberta. As the organization grew, they diversified their service offerings and moved their operations and headquarters to Didsbury, Alberta.
With over 30 years in Western Canada, West-Can Seal has been specializing in the preventative maintenance of asphalt roads. West-Can has extensive pavement preservation experience where they are able to custom design construction solutions that work with their customers’ needs. The range and ability of their crews allow them to design, construct and maintain various projects on an annual basis. Some of their services include:
