About us
West-Can Seal Coating (“West-Can”) first started in Ontario in 1946 as a small family business, at that time, they focused on being a local road builder and bridge contractor. In 1971, the organization expanded its operations and bought property in Durham, Ontario and became aggregate suppliers and asphalt contractors. In 1986, West-Can came to Western – more... Canada, setting up an office in Delmany, Saskatchewan. West-Can originally focused its efforts in seal coating across Saskatchewan and Alberta. As the organization grew, they diversified their service offerings and moved their operations and headquarters to Didsbury, Alberta.

With over 30 years in Western Canada, West-Can Seal has been specializing in the preventative maintenance of asphalt roads. West-Can has extensive pavement preservation experience where they are able to custom design construction solutions that work with their customers’ needs. The range and ability of their crews allow them to design, construct and maintain various projects on an annual basis. Some of our services include:

• Micro surfacing

• Seal coating

• Road building and civil construction

• Full depth reclamation and stabilization

• Cold in place asphalt recycling

• Custom energy road work

• Pug mill produced cold mix

West-Can successfully tenders contracts across Western Canada from British Columbia through to Manitoba annually. Still it's a work place there's pros and cons it's like working anywhere else there's always communication problems on the work site or the office you do work with a few good co-workers that know what they are doing and others they figure they can do whatever and the people on the 2-way radios it's a flicking soap opera nothing to do about work it's - more...
