Crew Leader in Toronto, ON
Good place to get experience
Great family run company, really relaxed environment, alot of the more experienced workers are willing to help you grow and gain experience. Some days people can be a little intolerable but that comes with any job, and we all have our days!

A good stepping stone
Weller has been a good place to learn new skills, practice them and put them into use on the job. There's many crew leaders who care about their job, their crew and the industry, and then there's some who just don't give a s*** and do their very best to do as little as possible. But usually you can get moved to a different crew if you ask. Management tries hard to provide for all the employees but they're lacking man-power in management so trucks and crews are left without the tools they need to get the job done or meet contract requirements by City's. Overall, a good stepping stone on the way to bigger and better things.

Fair wages and good staff
enjoyed working here. good wage. management was reasonable to deal with. Lots of equipment available to get the job done. Staff were easy to work with. I enjoyed the freedom of working on a city contract with no bosses micro managing.
Crew Leader/Bucket Operator in Toronto, ON
Fun, few problems
worked there for a year, great hours cant complain and stayed at 1 yard for the city of Toronto. overall time was good and would recommend working at Weller
Good people low chance of moving up
Good people low chance of moving up. Too many incompetent workers with not enough pride. Owners are amazing, it is the lack of attention to detail and organization that hinders them
