Money is survival kids

Indeed featured review

You like having money to spend? I know I do. But! You’re not going to find it at cheap”O” Well.ca !The only money made here go into the big bosses billfold. You have everything to lose here and nothing to gain. Your downfall comes as soon as your enter the door here. A promotion is not a promotion here, it’s a do more work and have the VP watching your every move even when you’re on break breathing! Like I said about the pay….it stinks and the benefits are very little to none! If you plan on working here I would consider the cons more the the pros.

Pros

Going home.

Cons

Working here.

The place that give you that unlucky feeling

You know that feeling you get when you feel like you’re winning at something only to find out that you lost or came up short. Well losing in this scenario working at Well.ca is a plus for you. What truly do you get winning here, a bonus every half century or maybe you get pick in an interview to be a team lead or maybe you get mentioned very quickly in a bypass speech that nobody cares about. This and very little light at the end of the tunnel that leads to nothing but wasted life working for this wonky donkey bobble head company. If you think working here is a good thing, may I suggest you get check out by a professional before you check out of here mentally and are taken away to a resort that has padded walls!

Pros

So nice coworkers I guess:(

Cons

Settling for this place when there better out there.

Promises that leave you empty

Well.ca per claims job opportunities and growth. I too could promise you this. Unfortunately it all words to make Well.ca look good. Like a salesperson trying to sell you something. In this case Well.ca makes you “believe “ you’re worthy of being there. Unfortunately it come with short coming and promises for a bigger job title! Yippee skippy! Until ownership is changed there is no better tomorrow or future that includes you in it at Well.ca / fake.com!

Pros

Lunch and breaks

Cons

Never delivering on their promises.

Communication difficulties

Have you ever been dare to do something? Well if it working here then walk away from the dare. Cause I can guarantee that you will quit or get let go within a short period of time. The place makes money, but lacks the knowledge how to treat or keep employees around. I guess all that business knowledge has given the company a swelled head that they forgot that business involves communication. It’s great you can communicate with your vendors and customers, but you can’t figure out your in house problems. Kinda makes me wonder if management needs to go back to big boy school and learn the other side of money…..people skills!!!!!! PS mind reading in not a course. Make sure your in the right class so you can become an adult with communication skils.

Pros

Leaving and never coming back.

Cons

Treated like dirt.

Unhappy work environment

Working here is very depressing. The negative energy here is very noticeable. People look unhappy all the time and their away worker leaving or being dismissed for who knows what. I have noticed the lack of communication in warehouse and a feeling like no one cares anymore. More and more each day I also feel like not being here anymore. For me the money is ok but the negativity out weights the wanting too be here.

Pros

Having a job I guess.

Cons

The negative environment you can see it and feel it.

Great place too work!

Working here is okay. As long as you still live at home with your parents and don’t plan on moving out ever! You make enough money to scrap by if you still live with your parents. The benefits are good as long as your parents can cover the other 50% of your dentist bill out of their pocket for you. Over all great place to work. Ps I would like to thank Well.ca for letting me pan handle outside their front doors before my shift. Every bit of change helps.

Pros

Nice coworkers.

Cons

Pay is below poverty.

Mistakes

We all make mistakes in life. Some which can be fixed and other that leave a lasting impression. Take this job for example, we all make mistakes….right! It wasn’t that long ago I got lost in this terrible place we call “well.ca” where the work runs freely and the workers are so sweet but the other one’s who watch over us are nasty and cheap. Workers worked to the bone with nothing to show and the hope of a better future getting flushed below. Now! Don’t ask me why people come and go, I guess it’s the the smell from being flushed below!

Pros

Nice worker.

Cons

Low wages that put you deeper in debt.

Money hungry company

One of those places that make you wonder why you ever applied too. The work is easy to do. It’s the speed and the metrics that are the problem. If customers are impatient and want their packages right away, maybe go to a store and buy what you need in person. I can’t understand why a company pushes that hard to get thing out in a New York minute! It’s a privilege to be so spoiled and get a package at your front door. When I worked here, it was go go go! But! No no no increase in money. So next time you’re waiting for a package, I’m waiting for a pay increase and you will get your precious package while I’ll get a pat on the back with a good job. Those words don’t pay for my rent increase or other bills, but! Good job eh!!!!!

Pros

Leaving to go home on my last day.

Cons

Lack of pay increases!

Nothing special about this place

I would rather watch a chicken lay an egg than to work here. Matter of fact I would even consider trying to lay an egg just to see if I could do it. The job is as boring as bouncing a ball against the wall. Working with older people drive me nuts, I don’t know if the product is expired or they are. The pace of the place is up and down . One minute you’re doing good and the next time your metrics are down and having a team lead break down the play by play of what you’re doing wrong. The pay is okay if they could put a few more zero before the decimal point. The only way to improve working here is too not work here to begin with.

Pros

Some nice workers.

Cons

The pay will leave you broke and in debt.

Negative work environment

My time working for Well.ca was a negative experience. It’s was like an elementary level job. With a meeting before your shift so the teacher can reminder you to hit you metric & correct all the things you’re doing wrong. When things are going right the bosses and team lead take all the credit. You have to be a yes person too and alway agree with the company & their dumb policies as well. Here a couple of new policies 1) try to implement the policies properly 2) if you fire someone , don’t! Be a turtle and retract back into your shell you cowards and tell the employee “WHY” there being let go!

Pros

There is no pros, everything here is a disappointment!

Cons

Release without explanation!!!!!!!!!

You will quit sooner then later

The first time I step into the warehouse I had some doubts. I felt an unpleasant vibe anytime I need to talk to anybody in the office whether it was just to ask a question or dealing with HR. The team leads are all fake little weasel’s that do everything their master’s tell them what to do. From spying to retrieving information about other employees. You’re not allowed to talk at all and if seen you will be told . You’re put in packing cubicles so you’re isolated like you’re in prison and the team lead cram metric’s into your head while you’re in your little cubicle. Being watched even if you have to go to the bathroom and making should you get back to your cubicle before the team leads send out the swat team in search of missing person at cubicle # 5! The job doesn’t pay well at all and the stress is not worth dealing with. In the end I left Well.ca and found employment elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend anybody working here at any level or age of life.

Pros

Some nice employees.

Cons

Pay and being watched for everything you do!

Re thinking how too pay

Just because the job is easy or hard doesn’t make it okay to pay everybody the same wage. Bonuses should be a paycheque to paycheque thing, not once a month or that kind of nonsense. If you don’t want to increase wages then only pay out bonuses to those who continue to produce the best numbers day in day out. That you earn your wage through productivity, not because other members of your team are slower or holding you back from a wage increase. Bonus save companies money in the long run. If you work hard you get an extra couple hundred bucks and if you’re not pulling you weight you miss out on the bonuses and you have no one but yourself to blame for the lack of productivity! By keep the system the same way will same fail and turnover will continue for your company. I left here proving that working harder gets you nowhere in this out dated way of paying employees. For anybody wanting to work here, go luck on these crummy wages for surviving life’s most important needs!

Pros

Nice employees

Cons

Money needs to change if you want employees too stick around

The mule

Guelphs little sweat shop establishment. Where you get treated like mule with next to nothing pay. Where the company hires you to fire you for the next set of mules coming out of the barn. Do you enjoy being talk down too? Once you step foot into this barnyard you will get the idea that you are talk too like a mule not a human. The owners act all mighty like they invented online shopping like no one else can do what they can👍!what they invented is how too treat workers like floors and walk all over them. They invented a way to squeeze the sweat out of you without paying you more money for your hard work!!!!! I guess being a mule allows these boss humans to act this way!

Pros

Nothing worth talking about.

Cons

Treated like animals.

Guess who

Remember the game “guess who” ? After you work here this game will come in handy. Like “guess who’s” getting fired or “guess who” got let go! Guess who’s not getting a wage increase, definitely not you or anybody who works at Well.ca in the warehouse. Guess who going broke working here? That’s right it’s you. Guess who is the quitting soon? …. Don’t waste any of your life or breath on this place!!!!!

Pros

Nothing at all!

Cons

Turnover after turnover!!!!!!!!

Warehouse with treats

Overall this place is just like everywhere else. It's a normal work environment with the bonus of getting discounted items every other week. The lifting is usually pretty light and not too stressful. And I have to say that there is room for improvement. I started out picking and now I moved to the shipping team and also help with receiving. It hasn't happened that often this year but I definitely look forward to the overtime. My team lead is great, they are nice and understanding. The only thing I would want a little more of is the pay...but wouldn't everyone.

Pros

Light lifting, discounted items, casual environment

Cons

the pay

Great Place to Work!!

I've been working here for 2 years and so far I have no complaints. Sure, it gets busy around the holidays like Black Friday and Christmas buts I got so many hours from the overtime program, 2 sweaters and tons of stuff from the employee store for my kids at home. I've personally had a few family emergency's and my team leads were so understanding, I could just focus on my problem at home. Can't ask for much more, they have been great! Overall the people on my shift are really nice and I look forward to seeing them. There has been A LOT of changes since I started working here but Ive had a lot of jobs in the past so I can tell you I would rather see change then nothing at all!

Pros

employee store, coffee machine, the staff

Cons

can be warm during the summer

Great Work Environment

Overall great place to work. The managers are very kind and understanding and are able to reason well especially if you are going through an emergency situation at home. I love my job and want all my friends to work with me. The office staff is very helpful and there is always someone available to answer any questions. I feel supported in my role and everyone I work with is so honest and caring, one time the staff even put together a going away party. I have learned so much here and its sad to see when people dont understand how much this company actually does.

Pros

The staff and the discount store

Welcome to the home

I love working here so much that I just get excited talking about how they treat their employees like you’re special everyday. I do believe there is no other place like this resort. I would recommend people to work here or just stop in for a visit. All patients are welcomed to Well.ca/ asylum.com

Pros

Everybody is so special and friendly.

Cons

The rubber room!

Best place I've ever worked at

Fast paced, fun work. Coworkers are there to support you if you need help, great music playing, good exercise too. Pay is decent, there are freebies that you are allowed to bring home occasionally.
