The structure and workflow are messed up; there was a lot of miscommunication across and within departments. Unclear commands and unorganized data and working files. Managers never share what happened within the departments or the company if you are not important enough, which makes some people feel excluded, and very subjective towards employees/staff.HR only cares about the company, not the employees. They cut people off as they want.Also, no flexibility to work from home for staff, while managers and bosses can do whatever they want and come and leave whenever they want.

My day starts early. I enjoy interacting with the workers at the start of my day. Management has been helpful when asked and often reward the employees with special day treats and activities.

Pros

Pros are the free lunches and company insensitive for games

Working with a smile

In an emerging industry, the amount of things you can learn is incredible. That's what happens here. Although disorganization is a pending issue we are gradually solving, work is generally excellent. People smile, and once you leave work in the afternoon, the problems stay in the office, and you go home stress-free. Occasionally we have an event where they bring ice cream or food; that's nice. The atmosphere is good, and the bosses are approachable and friendly. So it is a great place to work overall.

Great place to work and learn

Weed Me is a great place to work. Everyone at the office is very dedicated. The environment of the office is relaxed but thats just because everyone is so busy working. The company does a great job at showing appreciation for their employees by offering pizza lunches, Ice cream truck days and BBQs! Weed Me has great career growth options as the company continues to grow and becomes bigger and bigger. Would Recommend Weed Me.

Disorganized and poorly managed

If you like cannabis, work somewhere else. The entire company is extremely disorganized. I was underpaid significantly compared to my colleagues. They have unqualified people who know nothing about cannabis in positions of management. Managers don’t know how to work with people.Other companies are paying almost twice as much as the starting salary for the same role. Weed Me has made it clear they don’t care about their people.

Weed Me is a young company in a booming industry. The culture is one of the best parts of working there, you work with a team of individuals who you can call friends, and who all have a common goal of creating the best quality product possible. Sometimes it does get busy, but most of the time it is a relaxing environment. The hours are consistent, the management is helpful, and overall this is a great place to work with opportunities for individuals to grow (literally and figuratively).

I have been with Weed Me for just under 2 months. I applied for this job because I saw it as an opportunity to break out into the recreational cannabis space. You will learn a lot from a growing team and become a change agent in the development of many new and necessary processes. The team is small but nimble, which I see as a huge opportunity. That being said, there's still a lot of work in developing a culture, but that's not unfamiliar with small companies. Overall, the environment is solid and the team is smart and determined.

Prepare to feel sorry for yourself for being fooled a million times

Where to begin. Maybe the good news: the cultivation team (or whatever is left of it--everyone dropping off like flies) was/is great. The bad: - you will get promised the moon, and you will keep believing it because of the good people in the back emotionally supporting you and each other - NO LEADERSHIP. Anyone talented eventually realizes they're wasting their professional life. Anyone who stays is because they feel like they have nowhere to go, or have financial commitments they can't escape. There are only a handful of people who are not secretly looking for other jobs and they are likely the boss's friends - bosses don't do anything meaningful, and all are friends who are too slack about their responsibilities while production staff are slaves and practically working for no money at all. - unsafe. just minimizes seriousness of the hazards. TIP: work here if you really are desperate to get some legal experience. But prepare to get crushed. They will appear nice and friendly though.
