Steady work, but terrible management
Manual labourer in automotive production (Former Employee) – Petrolia, ON – 25 February 2018
Production factory open 24/7, with the exception of some civic holidays. Decent pay and benefits, but most of upper management is disorganized or simply don't care about quality of production or the labourers. Some would have betting pools on which employee would be fired, HR made it very difficult to file for Workman's Comp regarding injuries on the job, and not all supervisors would take responsibility for disruption of the work line or the day's quality, despite managing the line a product being their job. As a result many of the employees were discontent and occasionally surly.
Bad workplace atmosphere
